Individual Therapy

Individual therapy is a space where you don’t have to manage everything on your own.

I offer individual therapy for adults in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, DC, and California through secure virtual sessions and limited in-person appointments in Bethesda, Maryland.

Together, we can gently explore anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, stress, depression, life transitions, or patterns that no longer feel supportive.

In our work together, I draw from a range of approaches based on your needs and goals. This may include guided exploration, getting to know different parts of yourself, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and gentle, body-based awareness. This integrative approach can support you in building a deeper, more connected relationship with your thoughts, emotions, and body.

What to expect?

At the beginning of our work, we take time to build a sense of connection and safety, creating a foundation that feels steady and supportive. As part of the intake process, we develop a shared understanding of what you would like to work toward, so our work feels intentional and aligned with your needs.

Sessions often include a mix of reflection, curiosity, and gently noticing what is happening within you. This can include your thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations. At times, we may stay with present-moment awareness, and at other times, we may focus more directly on specific experiences or memories. Some sessions may feel more open and exploratory, while others may feel more focused and intentional, depending on what you need that day.

Over time, therapy may include both gentle exploration and deeper processing, while also supporting you in building tools to navigate day-to-day challenges with more ease and clarity.

Sessions are 55 minutes and are offered virtually via Zoom or through limited in-person appointments in Bethesda, Maryland, providing flexibility to meet your needs. Therapy is available in both Hebrew and English.

If this feels like it might be a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can connect and get a sense of whether working together feels right.

Trauma-informed Yin yoga offers a gentle space to slow down, breathe, and reconnect with your body in a supportive and nonjudgmental way. I offer virtual trauma-informed Yin yoga sessions for adults in Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC, and California. These sessions are less about performance or flexibility and more about creating space for awareness, grounding, rest, and nervous system regulation. No prior yoga experience is needed.

In a trauma-informed space, choice and pacing are central. You are always invited to listen to your body and move in ways that feel comfortable for you. I offer guidance and options, while encouraging you to stay connected to your own internal cues and sense of safety.

What to expect?

Yin yoga postures are typically held for longer periods of time, often with the support of props, allowing the body to soften gradually. Along the way, we may gently notice sensations, breath, and internal experiences with curiosity, without any pressure to change or push through discomfort.

This practice can support nervous system regulation, a deeper sense of connection, and more ease in the body. It may be especially supportive if you are experiencing stress, anxiety, or the impact of trauma, or if you are looking to reconnect with your body in a slower, more intentional way.

Trauma-informed Yin yoga can be integrated into therapy sessions or offered as a standalone service. I offer both individual and group Yin yoga sessions, depending on your preferences and needs.

If you’re curious about this practice, I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can connect and explore whether this feels like a supportive fit for you.
